Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of service and professionalism on the road.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload chemicals.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Ensure that all freight is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Experience in freight handling and logistics is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is advantageous.
