Duties
- Assist in the packaging of various sweet products, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Support the manufacturing process by preparing ingredients, assembling products, and monitoring machinery
- Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and packaging labels
- Follow food safety guidelines diligently to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and workspaces to uphold safety standards and mechanical functionality
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the food industry or manufacturing environment is required
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but training can be provided
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills for packaging.
- Basic math skills for inventory management, measurements, and quality checks
- Commitment to food safety practices and maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout shifts
