*** This job works every second Saturday*** We are seeking a reliable and motivated yard attendant to join our team at Edmonton Landscape Center.
The ideal candidate should be friendly and enjoy interacting with customers. Skid steer experience is required, as well the ability to work well under pressure and lift up to 50 lbs. Loader experience is an asset but willing to teach the right candidate. Knowledge of the landscaping industry is considered an asset. Hourly wage varies based on experience level.
Responsibilities:
Provide high level of customer service for both customers and truck drivers.
Maintain a clean and organized yard.
Ensure a positive and safe work environment.
Safely load trucks and trailers with landscape supplies such as soils, aggregates, bricks and sod.
Assist and recommend the right products for the right application.
Fill 5-gallon and 1-yard bags with materials.
Required Qualification and Skills:+
Highly reliable with exceptional work ethic.
Be energetic and self-motivated.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Be always professional and courteous.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Able to easily lift 50 lbs.
Effective problem solver and able to deal with product and people issues.
Knowledge of landscaping supplies is a major plus.
Skid steer, loader and forklift experience is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40-60 per week
Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
