Position Overview: Skid Steer Operator and 1A Driver
The role involves contributing to our scrap cleanup crew as a Skid Steer Operator and 1A Driver. Successful candidates will be expected to train for the position and will start by driving Class 1 vehicles for three to six months. After this training period, candidates will transition into the Skid Steer Operator role. Responsibilities include on-site material processing, removal, equipment transportation, and maintenance. This role also offers growth potential towards more senior positions within the company (Excavator operator and crew lead).
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate to and from job sites.
- Assist in loading and removing scrap material.
- Engage with customers and assess pre-work site conditions.
- Ensure crew equipment is properly fueled and maintained.
- Drive an 18-speed manual transmission semi-truck

- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of Class 1A driving experience.
- 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
- Willingness to travel and work on the road.
- Excavator operation experience is a plus.
- Off-road experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
