As a member of our Infrastructure & Technology Operations group, you’ll be part of our team that is focused on providing top notch computing services our employees. Along with the rest of our Dream Support Centre, you’ll be troubleshooting and solving various application issues, in order to provide the best possible user experience.

Our goal is to provide the best possible user experience by ensuring our users have the applications in place to perform their job functions efficiently – this is where you come in! We are continually upgrading and driving our initiatives, processes and goals in order to respond to changes in our business needs.

What will you do?
You will be responsible for the systems that our five business lines rely on every day. Motivated to provide the best JD Edwards EnterpriseOne support to our employees, here are some specifics of your role:
- For the issues assigned to you, you will be the main point of contact for the resolution, inter-department and end user communication;
- You’ll manage the full lifecycle of assigned application support calls, including troubleshooting and resolving the issue;
- You’ll take full responsibility for the initiatives assigned to you, including leading the planning, design, development, deployment and post deployment of any enhancements as well as new applications and functionality
- Analyze issues and based on your experiences propose solutions for preventive measures;
- In order to manage and enforce system continuity, you’ll develop detailed documentation for new applications or functionality, and ensure Change Management procedures are understood
- You’ll adhere to standards, policies, procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and a high standard of customer experience;
- Included in your solutions will be collaborating with your business users to determine business scenarios for UAT test scripts;
- We’ll be establishing SLA’s together, and you’ll manage client request delivery to meet or exceed these SLA’s;
- You’re not on your own! You’ll be partnering with the development teams to deliver efficient and accurate resolutions;
- Based on your interaction with your business users, you’ll Identify training opportunities and work with our Training Coordinator to develop documentation, training participants, and curriculum;
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure issues are resolved accurately and will pass quality assurance audits; and
- Hopefully not too often, but be available after hours when needed to assist with resolving rare and unexpected operational issues.
What type of qualifications do you have?

- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and/or 8-10 years’ equivalent work experience in an IT, Accounting or Real Estate environment
- Minimum 5 years’ working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 applications including: Real Estate Management, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Job Cost, Fixed Assets, Procurement. Nice to have; HomeBuilder, Hyphen Solutions, RPA (Robotic Process Automation (Bots))
- Strong troubleshooting experience with JDE application, and ERP application setup and testing
- Experience in developing functional specifications for ERP application development, including forms, reports, interfaces, data conversion or enhancement
- Display a deep understanding of problem solving, including the ability to lead the search for root cause and implementation of corrective actions
- Experience working and coordinating in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Able to multi-task and work to meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-starter who works with minimal supervision
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to logically analyze complex processes and systems
- Proven ability to learn new applications and software systems quickly
- Comfortable engaging with all levels within an organization
- Creative and critical thinking on process, security and/or system issues
