Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager/Shop Foreman to lead our Roof Truss, Floor System and Wall Panel manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee our Woodstock plant, driving growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the plant, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands
- Oversee daily operations, including production, quality control, and supply chain management
- Assist in manufacturing roof trusses, floor systems and wall panels
- Lead project management efforts to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Supervise and mentor managers and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Manage employee performance
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly, making data-driven decisions to optimize overall business performance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, and operations within the wood truss manufacturing sector; experience in construction or building materials is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success supervising teams and managing complex projects
- Excellent project management abilities with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Knowledge of industry standards related to truss manufacturing and safety regulations is desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced management certifications are advantageous

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
