Hexcel Construction has been one of the lower mainland's premier site servicing contractors since 1985. We are currently looking for passionate individuals who would like to establish careers in the construction industry.
The skilled construction grade-man position will involve the performance of various activities such as:
- Performing basic survey measurements for the purposes of installing utilities
- Perform layout, topographical surveys and offsets
- Interpretation of engineering drawings
- Care and maintenance of survey equipment
- Daily involvement in safety conscious activities
- Other various construction related activities
All applicants applying for the position should have the following qualifications and experience:
- At least 1 year of civil survey experience
- Education
- High school diploma (required)
- Post secondary education (considered an asset)
- Technical Experience (preferred and considered an asset)
- Experience with pipe, rotary lasers and optical levels
- Experience with interpreting plans and civil/engineering drawings
- Experience with locators
- Other skills & assets
- Effective Communication skills (English)
- Organized
- Goal oriented
- Enjoys working in teams
The position is full time and offers competitive pay at rates from $32.00 - $36.00 per hour. Other benefits included are life insurance, disability, health and dental benefits, an RRSP matching program and the opportunity to obtain various safety or skill certifications.
