SUMMARY:
The position of Shipper/Receiver & Driver is multi-faceted and interacts with various StackTeck employees and subcontractors. In addition to the distribution of components to the shop floor at both facilities, as well as day-to-day pickup, crating and delivery of goods to/from subcontractors within the GTA, this role will be responsible for general support to the TeckCenter.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Responsible for performing material duties including controlling/managing incoming inventory, interacting with internal customers and carriers to arrange shipping

Crate, pack, seal, and label materials for shipping, and place in the delivery area
-
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders
-
Position will require regular loading and unloading of shipments
-
Empty chip bins on a daily basis
-
Load plastic recycling in the trailer and deliver empty loads to the required areas
-
Complete delivering by driving van to and from vendors or between StackTeck facilities
-
Maintains van by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs
-
Communicate effectively to resolve issues such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to required specifications
-
Order and store shipping supplies to maintain stock inventory
-
Maintain cleanliness around and within the facility
-
Keep grounds in and surrounding the TeckCentre clean at all times, remove snow and dispose of all garbage
-
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Valid G license with clear driver abstract is a requirement for this position

Counterbalance forklift experience with valid certification is a requirement

Carpentry / crate building experience

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent required.

Basic Computer skills: Excel, Word and Outlook, an asset.
