Our progressive Mississauga practice requires a knowledgeable, experienced Office Manager/Dental Treatment Coordinator.
Our ideal candidate must be a confident sales-minded individual with the ability to naturally connect with patients and encourage necessary dental treatment. Our upscale, technologically advanced practice consists of a sophisticated patient base. We require a candidate who has great communication skills and a good command of the English language.
This is a full-time Monday – Friday position.
In this role, you will be directly working with our wonderful team of professionals, providing our patients with optimal customer care and service. Although dental experience is a must, we will provide the necessary training for you to be successful in this role. One of your initiatives will be to help organization efficiency and flow.
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
- Managing of Case Acceptance monitors proper follow-through with patients pertaining to treatment, motivate patients with the ability to educate on treatment and discussion pro's and con's of treatment options.
- Taking initiative, providing problem-solving solutions, based on ensuring that it is within the best interest of the practice as a whole.
- Development and implementation initiatives to help foster a positive team culture.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the team by example, and be a team player, taking initiatives, always in search for methods of improvement both personally and professionally. Manage implementation to meet established parameters of strategy, helping the team to set goals and achieve them.
- Develop and implement strategic practice initiatives
- As an office manager/treatment coordinator, mentor, train existing and new team members to understand the vision of the practice and work together in achieving the goals.
- Prepare and present monthly reports assessing the on-going effectiveness of the organization
- Prepare and present daily huddles, and participate in monthly staff team meetings
- Contribute to a culture of service to our practice community
- If necessary, you may have to be proactively involved dismissing, and in scouting new talent including reference checks, for the betterment of the practice (with the doctor's approval).
Key Requirements and Skills:
- Actively fulfill/support reception/administrator role on a daily basis
- A minimum of 3 years proven and progressive treatment coordinating experience, or other premiere service environment experience is an asset.
- Self-starter with a high degree of professional judgment, analytical ability, organizational ability, and resourcefulness with interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- Experience in directing and developing staff to strengthen team.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, including project leadership/management abilities, including managing budgets, vendors, and deadlines.
- Relationship builder: natural ability to develop new and effective relationships with internal and external partners.
- Strong team orientation and leadership through positive influence skills: understand and promote interdepartmental approach to problem-solving and diplomacy; understand the value of bridging communications gaps.
- Track record of implementing marketing programs to maintain best practice policies and procedures, and retain patients.
- Good computer skills. Knowledge of Abel Dent would be considered an asset.
