We are looking for full-time Summer Camp leaders June 29th - September 4th, 2026. Please note that there will be a training/orientation shift scheduled prior to the 29th.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Leaders to join our seasonal programming team for the upcoming camp season. Under the direction of the Manager of Hospitality & Guest Services, the Camp Leader is responsible for the implementation of the seasonal summer camp program at City Centre Park. Duties include: program leadership, participant supervision, and ensuring that safety standards are consistently maintained.
Please note that this is a seasonal position.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of camp programs and activities.
- Provide direct supervision to program participants so that standards for safety are consistently maintained.
- Communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
- Foster the development of a positive 'camp culture' that offers a safe, healthy and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/COMPENTENCIES
- Standard First-Aid Certification (required prior to start date).
- Criminal Record Check (required prior to start date).
- High School Diploma (or equivalent). University or college experience is considered an asset.
- Must be 18 years of age or older by January 1, 2026.
- Previous experience in a leadership role would be an asset.
