Welcome to Yorokobi Japanese Restaurant! We offer authentic Japanese-Korean style cusine. Yorokobi means "JOY" in Japanese. Our goal is that every dish we serve is able to bring joy, pleasure and connection into all of our guest, team members and communities.
We are looking passionate and friendly server to join our team.
Responsibilities & duties:
- Demonstrate excellent customer service - ensuring that the customers are satisfied with their food and service and taking action to correct any problems
- Take orders and serve food/beverages (in person, via phone or delivery apps) accurately and efficiently using good knowledge of our menu and good communication skills; Take-out and dine-in orders
- Have strong work ethic and committed to team, ensuring the restaurant clean and organized
- Thrive in a fast paced environment
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Take cleaning duties; sweeping and mopping floor, washing glasses, cleaning washrooms
- Check and re-stock beverages and inventory
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine
- Smart serve certified
- More than 6 months Sushi restaurant experience is asset.
