Benchmark Fabricators is looking for a hands-on CNC Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Fabricator to produce high-quality components used in architectural façade and cladding systems. This role focuses on precision forming, setup, and safe operation within a modern CNC-driven shop environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC press brakes (and related forming/cutting equipment as needed).
Read drawings, verify dimensions, and perform in-process checks to meet tolerances.
Handle material safely, maintain clean work areas, and follow shop safety procedures.
Work with the team to meet production schedules and quality targets.
Assist with basic maintenance and tooling changes.
Qualifications
2+ years operating press brakes / sheet metal fabrication (or strong apprentice-level experience).
Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
Forklift/overhead crane experience is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
Strong reliability, attention to detail, and safety mindset.
