Responsibilities:
- Build new relationships, maintain, and grow existing relationships with clients.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and industry trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective sales strategies
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements and develop pricing solutions to clients’ transportation needs
- Be the first point of contact for the clients and ensure their service expectations are met
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
- Manage customers RPF process and pricing needs of customers
- Work with Operations Teams in developing overall growth strategy of customers transportation network needs.
- Manage the day-to-day clients’ freight movements in collaboration with Operations
- Proactively participate in sales meetings and reporting on sales goals, forecasting, and wins
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Energetic, relentless, and thriving on hunting for opportunities
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Sales and negotiation experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Constructive problem solver
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Proven experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role
- Flexible in work hours and adaptable to changing workload
- Proficient in Outlook; intermediate in Excel and Word
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Experience in the transportation industry an asset.
