As a Shift Supervisor, you'll lead daily operations during your shift, support Front Desk Attendants, ensure the facility is clean and operating efficiently, and help resolve customer concerns. You'll play a key role in maintaining Zenya's high standards of customer service while creating a positive work environment for your team.
Responsibilities
In addition to performing the duties of a Front Desk Attendant, the Shift Supervisor will:
- Lead by example by providing outstanding customer service.
- Supervise and support Front Desk Attendants throughout each shift.
- Assign tasks and ensure daily responsibilities are completed efficiently.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and securing the facility.
- Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and operating to company standards.
- Monitor guest flow and staffing levels to provide excellent service during busy periods.
- Address and resolve customer questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional manner.
- Train and mentor new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Ensure birthday parties, group bookings, and special events run smoothly.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Complete basic incident and maintenance reports when required.
- Perform routine inspections of the facility and equipment, reporting safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Support management in enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Assist with emergency situations and follow established safety procedures.
- Holding store keys and securing the building.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous customer service experience required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate others.
- Comfortable handling cash and balancing daily transactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Shifts will include weekdays, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
