Location: Nanaimo or Vancouver, BC (with regular weekly travel between terminals, hours will vary including early morning and late evenings)
About the Role
We’re seeking a results driven Account Executive to join our Commercial Team. This role is responsible for managing and growing key revenue streams across corporate accounts, advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, and community engagement.
As an Account Executive, you will be a front facing representative of Hullo, building trusted relationships, delivering measurable value to clients, and supporting the expansion of new products and partnerships across the region. Your success will be measured by revenue growth, client retention, and the strength of long term partnerships you help build.
Core Pillars of the Role
- Advertising Program and Activations
Sell, manage, and execute onboard, terminal, and digital advertising programs from proposal through delivery and reporting.
- Corporate Accounts, Conferences and Events (MICE)
Retain and grow corporate travel relationships while driving trip volume through conferences, events, and group partnerships.
Support and grow strategic marketing partnerships with organizations such as, destination partners, and media organizations.
Champion the rollout and adoption of new commercial products such as loyalty programs, multipacks, and additional onboard or service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Advertising Program Sales and Execution
- Sell onboard, terminal, and digital advertising inventory
- Coordinate creative delivery, scheduling, campaign execution, and post campaign reporting
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and repeat business
Corporate Accounts Program Management
- Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients across Vancouver and Vancouver Island
- Act as the primary point of contact for account retention, engagement, and revenue growth
- Identify new opportunities to increase travel volume and deepen client relationships
Sponsorship and Community Engagement
- Lead intake and management of sponsorship and community partnership requests
- Identify, package, and pitch new sponsorship or promotional opportunities
- Support local initiatives that elevate Hullo’s brand presence and community impact
Partnership Events and Activations
- Support planning and execution of partner, corporate, and community events
- Coordinate activation logistics and lead on site branding execution
- Contribute to additional channel development and growth projects as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or sponsorship and partnership development
- Experience in transportation, travel, tourism, hospitality, or media is an asset
- 3-5 years Advertising sales experience
- Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel regularly between Vancouver and Vancouver Island
- Valid driver’s license

Compensation:
$70,000-80,000 base salary and competitive commission structure

Company laptop and mobile phone
Work Location:
Hybrid model with approximately 1 to 2 days per week in office and 3 to 4 days per week in the field.
Travel:
Regular regional travel for client meetings, activations, and events
