Seasonal Position | October–April, with Potential Summer Work
Fantasy Farms is looking for an energetic, reliable, and outgoing Seasonal Events & Guest Services Employee to join our team for our busy fall, winter, and spring event seasons.
This position is primarily focused on special events, customer service, and helping create a great experience for our guests, with some hands-on work involved in preparing and maintaining our event spaces. Occasional labour work is involved, but this is not the primary position.
Seasonal Schedule
- October – January Fall & Christmas events, guest services, event operations and farm support
- Jan/February: Seasonal break
- March – April: Spring events and farm operations
- Potential summer work: Opportunities may be available during our summer season
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing friendly, enthusiastic customer service to guests
- Helping operate and support special events and attractions
- Greeting guests, answering questions and providing directions
- Assisting with event setup and takedown
- Decorating and preparing the farm for seasonal events
- Helping maintain clean, organized and welcoming event spaces
- Cleaning and resetting areas throughout events
- Assisting with food service and preparation when needed
- Helping with games, activities and guest experiences
- Supporting Christmas, Halloween, spring and other special events
- Assisting with general farm/event tasks as needed
- Working as part of a team to ensure events run smoothly and safely
What We're Looking For
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Outgoing, friendly and comfortable interacting with the public
- Reliable and dependable
- Well-organized and able to stay calm in a busy event environment
- Comfortable working around children and families
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Willing to help with cleaning, decorating and hands-on event preparation
- Food service or food-handling experience is an asset
- Event experience is an asset
- Farm or general labour experience is an asset, but this is not primarily a labour position
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle are required
