Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and assisting with food preparation and service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality setting, providing memorable experiences for our guests. Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, attention to food safety, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service during breakfast hours
- Prepare and serve breakfast items, including food presentation and basic meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering duties
- Manage food handling responsibilities safely and efficiently, adhering to health regulations
- Replenish buffet or serving stations as needed and ensure all items are stocked appropriately
- Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service areas before and after shifts
- Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience, addressing any special requests or concerns
- Follow proper food safety procedures during meal preparation and serving
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen tasks such as food preparation, cooking, and cleaning is preferred
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash handling tools is a plus
- Background in guest services or hotel operations can be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques is required
