Position Details:
Job Title: High School Biology Teacher
Who We Are:
Zhuge Academy is a professional learning center with a group of highly trained and certified teachers for children from Kindergarten to Grade 12. We provide a variety of educational programs that help children succeed in both academic and personal development. The programs include, but not limited to, Mathematics, Computer Science, English, French and Chinese.
We have had over 180 students taking our programs and the company is in rapid growth, we are always looking for certified or experienced Teachers/Tutor who can teach one of the following subjects to join our growing team: Science/Math.
Qualifications for Science/Math Teacher:
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related scientific field.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of teaching or tutoring experience within a BC local school setting, with a strong familiarity with the BC New Curriculum for secondary life sciences.
- Professional Certification: Holding a valid BC Teaching Certificate (or being in the process of obtaining one) is highly preferred and considered a strong asset.
- Language Skills: Exceptional English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively teach complex biological concepts.
- Core Competencies: Passionate about the life sciences, with a proven ability to engage high school students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
License:
- BC teaching Certificate (Preferred)

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
