Our client is seeking a Mechanical Assembler I to support production operations by assembling electrical panels, enclosures, and materials handling equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met
What's the Job?
- Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, schematics, and process plans.
- Inspect components prior to assembly for defects or damage.
- Assemble and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components using tools, fixtures, and gauges.
- Build and modify assemblies to meet quality and performance standards.
- Perform adjustments to ensure completed assemblies meet specifications.
- Follow 5S processes for material maintenance and inventory management.
- Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper tool storage.
- Communicate progress and updates regularly with the Mechanical Team Lead.
- Assist other departments, including fabrication and wiring teams, when required.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely.
- Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
