The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences (CADH) is one of Ontario’s most established private career colleges focused exclusively on dental hygiene and dental assisting education. Located in Mississauga, just west of Toronto, CADH is known for its Level 4 accredited program, experienced faculty, and modern clinical facilities.
We are seeking a professional, well-organized, and student-focused Clinical Coordinator (Level 3) to join our team of highly accomplished Dental Hygiene faculty.
This role is ideal for a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about teaching, values mentorship, high standards, and structured clinical education.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Hold a baccalaureate degree in educational theory and methodology (including online principles),
OR
- Hold a baccalaureate degree in another discipline with training in adult education theory and methodology (including online principles),
OR
- Be willing to work toward attainment of the above
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee Level 3 clinical instruction
- Supervise student clinical performance in the CADH clinic
- Conduct clinical observations for Level 2 and Level 3 students
- Deliver one theory course (on-site and/or online as scheduled)
- Monitor and report on student progress
- Complete grading and evaluations (journals, PICO assignments, nutritional counselling, Level 4 grading, chart audits, etc.)
- Collaborate with faculty and Program Director to maintain academic standards
Schedule & Commitment
- Start Date: immediately
- Two clinic days per week, 8:00am to 7:30pm
- Approximately 20 hours per week
- Includes approximately 10 Saturdays per year
- Additional theory instruction as scheduled
