Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 310T Mechanic to join our night shift team. This role is vital in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive vehicles to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance procedures.
- Operate heavy machinery for testing or calibration purposes following safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure minimal downtime during night shifts.
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy equipment or industrial machinery; dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, and farm machinery.
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Customer service mindset with clear communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors.
