Reporting to the Mine Maintenance and Logistics Superintendent, the Mine Logistics General Foreman will be responsible for the safe execution of surface and underground logistics, trucking and ore handling while executing and reinforcing our health and safety programs.
This opportunity will include the responsibility of coordinating ore haulage, while ensuring it is achieved in accordance with the appropriate plans, schedules and budget. As a result, the position requires significant technical and operational knowledge and demonstrated strong supervisory background through a minimum of 10 years operational experience. The position requires substantial influence and communications skills to meet operational goals and targets. The incumbent will be required to direct, supervise and develop Underground Front Line Supervisors.
You will be required to work effectively with Safety / Health Professionals, Site Management Teams, Union Representatives, JH&SC, Government agencies, contractors and suppliers. Incumbents in this position must possess Underground Mine Supervisory Common Core and have a minimum of 10 years of Mine Operations and Logistics experience.
