About Papa’s Herb
Papa’s Herb is a rapidly growing CPG and cannabis company focused on building a highly efficient, technology‑driven supply chain. As we transition from manual processes to a fully integrated Sage ERP environment, we are seeking a Supply Chain & Inventory Strategist who can bring structure, accuracy, and innovation to our operations.
This role is ideal for a systems-oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is motivated by measurable performance outcomes.
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail‑oriented, analytical, and self-sufficient strategist to own our inventory and supply chain processes end‑to‑end. The successful candidate will lead our ERP integration, implement AI-driven forecasting tools, and ensure inventory accuracy across all stages—from raw materials to finished goods at distribution.
Our objectives are clear:
- 8 annual inventory turns
- Zero out‑of‑stock (OOS) events
- Full Sage ERP adoption and accuracy
This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational reliability and supporting our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory velocity to achieve 8 turns annually (full cycle every ~45 days).
- Oversee inventory accuracy across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Track and report on Days of Supply, cycle counts, and SKU performance.
ERP (Sage) Ownership
- Serve as the primary owner of Sage ERP inventory, procurement, and BOM modules.
- Ensure the system remains the single source of truth for all stock data.
- Lead data migration, cleanup, and process standardization.
AI Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Implement and manage AI-driven demand forecasting tools (e.g., Netstock, StockIQ).
- Anticipate demand changes and adjust procurement triggers proactively.
- Reduce volatility, oversupply, and stock-out risk.
Process Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks throughout the supply chain and implement corrective actions.
- Improve workflows, reduce manual inefficiencies, and enhance data accuracy.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to align supply planning with business needs.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with cannabis regulatory requirements.
- Generate regular inventory and forecasting reports for leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience with Sage ERP (100, 300, or Intacct) or comparable Tier‑1 systems.
- Experience with inventory planning, MRP, procurement, and BOM structures.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of supply chain KPIs.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and system troubleshooting.
- Ability to work on‑site in Toronto, Ontario.
Preferred
- Experience with AI‑driven forecasting tools (Netstock, StockIQ, or similar).
- Experience in CPG or regulated industries (cannabis, pharma, food, etc.).
- Proven track record of improving inventory performance or implementing ERP systems.
Personal Attributes
- Highly self-directed and resourceful.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Solutions-focused with strong problem‑solving skills.
Performance Expectations
Success in this role will be measured by two critical KPIs:
- Zero out‑of‑stock (OOS) events leading to lost sales.
- Achievement and maintenance of 8 annual inventory turns.
Commitment to Equity & Accessibility
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility. Accommodations are available throughout the recruitment process and during employment, in accordance with the AODA and Ontario Human Rights Code.
