Job Responsibilities:
- Design and plan pipe routes based on blueprints and specifications, coordinating with supervisors to ensure accurate layouts.
- Install sanitary and storm sewer systems, including related structures and pipelines.
- Cut pipes to specified lengths using appropriate tools.
- Assist in positioning and aligning pipes during installation.
- Connect and seal pipe sections using welding equipment, cement, or other methods.
- Remove and replace outdated or damaged piping systems.
- Verify pipe slopes and alignments using levels or laser equipment to meet project requirements.
- Backfill trenches and cover installed pipes with appropriate materials.
- Prepare and level trench bases utilizing tamping machines and hand tools.
- Provide training and guidance on pipe-laying techniques to junior team members.
- Perform additional general labor and construction tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in underground pipe installation.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and construction plans, with the ability to execute tasks efficiently using relevant materials and tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication, organizational abilities, dependability, and teamwork.
- Experience operating trenching machinery and related equipment.
- Ability to pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
