Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Supervised ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will work with individuals, typically children, diagnosed with autism to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.
Duties
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)/ Registered Behaviour Analysts
- Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies
- Assist in developing individualized treatment goals for each client
- Provide feedback and support to clients and their families
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Experience working with children, particularly those with Autism
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Completion of Autism and Behavioural Science post graduate certificate is preferred -A passion for delivering assent based and trauma aware services
CPR and First Aid
Recent police and vulnerable sector check required
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
