Office Administrator

Wage: $28.00–$33.00 per hour
Position: Full-Time
Superior Industrial Wheel is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. This position will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administrative and accounting functions of our office and manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment, and able to manage a variety of responsibilities while maintaining accurate records and professional communication with employees, customers, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customer invoices
- Enter supplier bills and maintain accurate accounts payable records
- Enter and reconcile company credit card receipts and transactions
- Perform light bookkeeping and general administrative accounting duties
- Assist with inventory management, recordkeeping, and inventory-related documentation
- Manage office and shop supplies and coordinate purchasing as required
- Respond to correspondence and inquiries from customers and suppliers
- Prepare letters, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents
- Assist with the company's Quality Management Program, including maintaining records and documentation
- Assist with Health & Safety administration, documentation, and recordkeeping
- Assist with the company's equipment and preventative maintenance program
- Maintain equipment records, including maintenance, inspections, repairs, and related documentation
- Maintain employee training records and ensure training files remain current and organized
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Support general office organization and day-to-day administrative requirements
- Assist management and other departments with administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office administration, accounting administration, bookkeeping, or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with invoices, bills, receipts, and financial records
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general office software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an asset
- Experience with inventory, quality management systems, or health & safety documentation is considered an asset
- Experience with accounting or ERP software is considered an asset
