Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to appropriate personnel.
- Manage phone systems efficiently to ensure seamless communication.
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Handle inquiries from clients and provide information about services offered.
- Maintain the front desk area to ensure it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to support daily operations and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred, especially in home improvement industry.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling and data entry, MS Office
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading abilities.
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment is essential.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service are crucial for success in this role.
Education
Post-secondary education in Office Administration or a related field is preferred.
