The Province of British Columbia has created a new incentive to support several school districts in filling postings across the province. This position is eligible for a pre-employment signing bonus of $10,000.00 in return for a successful candidate accepting a job offer for this position. This signing bonus is available for current British Columbia teaching certificate holders and for out of province teachers who are eligible for and pursuing a British Columbia teaching certificate
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
- Develop a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent conferences, and other school-related activities.
