Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable AZ Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for freight delivery and pickup
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or automotive repairs as needed
- Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation duties
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with warehouse or yard duties as required, including equipment operation
Experience
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record 2 years of experience required
- Fast card required
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is advantageous
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Experience with freight handling and securement techniques preferred
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5,000.00-$94,712.26 per month
