Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance a 92 year old Doctor who speaks Farsi. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors while ensuring their comfort and safety . Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, providing companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support mobility by helping clients move safely around their home .
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Assist with personal hygiene and toileting needs while ensuring dignity and respect for clients.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional health.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, assisted living facilities, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid or similar training is advantageous but not mandatory.
