Lakeview Veterinary Clinic is a newly established, privately owned veterinary clinic in Southwest Calgary, conveniently located with easy access for staff and clients. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor anesthesia and provide perioperative patient care.
- Assist with dental procedures, including dental radiography, prophylaxis, and patient monitoring.
- Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing.
- Assist with diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography and ultrasound procedures.
- Educate clients on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Place pharmaceutical and medical supply orders.
- Maintain controlled drug logs and ensure compliance with all applicable ABVMA regulations and standards.
- Conduct quarterly inventory counts in collaboration with other team members and assist with inventory management.
- Help maintain inventory and clinic organization.
- Assist with end-of-day clinic duties and closing procedures.
- Support a positive, efficient, and collaborative clinic workflow.
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) in Alberta or eligible for registration.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to compassionate patient care and client education.
- Experience with anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, laboratory procedures, and inventory management is an asset.
