Job Description
We require a Residential Property Manager for an off campus student residence. The Residential Property Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the operation of the residence, including viewings, rentals, inspections, maintenance, and communications. This is a work-from-home position, that requires regular on-site visits to the building. The work from home responsibilities do not have set work hours, providing the candidate flexibility throughout the day to complete tasks.
The work hours per week increase during move-ins, move-outs, and lease-up periods, and decrease in between. Average hours per week on an annual basis would be 25 - 30.
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting move-ins and move-outs
Initiating marketing activities to attract new tenants
Administration of the new applicant/tenant process
Managing tenant turnover
Overseeing and scheduling repairs, maintenance, and upkeep
Communications with Tenants
Liaising with Administrator on Financial aspects of the business
Maintaining existing reporting systems
Monthly meeting with stakeholder
Qualifications
-post secondary degree or equivalent
-property management experience and/or senior business management experience
-meticulous about details
-highly computer proficient with MS Office, Social Media
-excels at planning, operations, logistics
- effective communicator with great people skills
-flexible with on site availability
- Demonstrated examples of providing superior customer service
