Job Overview:
As a Site Project Coordinator, you’ll be the central link between the office, the field, and the client, ensuring that the project moves forward safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and other professionals to plan work, track progress, and resolve challenges before they impact the job. You’ll be responsible for maintaining documentation, coordinating materials and subcontractors, supporting cost tracking, and providing updates as needed. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the day-to-day execution of construction projects in collaboration with the Project Manager and field teams.
- Review daily production reports, compare performance against schedules and budgets, and communicate variances proactively.
- Attend project and coordination meetings, taking detailed minutes and following up on action items.
- Conduct regular site visits to support planning, logistics, and safety compliance.
- Prepare and process RFIs, RFQs, and NCRs under the guidance of the Project Manager.
- Assist in project cost tracking, data entry, and reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain smooth workflow.
- Support field teams by organizing work plans, verifying quality documentation, and ensuring all permits and safety requirements are in place.
- Manage and maintain digital and physical project files including drawings, correspondence, and reports.
- Track and reconcile equipment and material usage between the field and office.
- Contribute to project billing activities by reviewing line items, quantities, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in the creation of project handover and close-out documentation packages.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the operations team as required.
Qualifications
· 0–3 years of construction experience (sewer, watermain, or heavy civil experience an asset)
- Post Secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- CET or EIT designation and asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and construction software (e.g., Jonas or equivalent)
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Valid G driver’s licence and clean driving record
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000
