You will be responsible for safely loading, securing and delivering auto parts to our customers in a timely manner using a company vehicle. As you will be dealing face to face with our customers, you will be positively representing our store. This position is a very important part of our team!
As a delivery driver, your responsibilities will include:
· Driving the delivery vehicle to designated locations
· Delivering items to customers and picking up items as well
· Safely loading and unloading items into and out of the delivery vehicle
· Providing excellent customer service
· Maintaining accurate records of deliveries
· Restocking showroom/overstock shelves
· Tidying store interior between deliveries (sweeping, vacuuming, taking out garbage, etc.)
Qualifications and skill requirements:
· Minimum of high school diploma
· Valid class 5 driver’s licence (proof upon hire)
· Clean driver’s abstract (required upon hire)
· Knowledge of the local area
· Strong communication skills
· Physical ability to lift and carry heavier items
· Ability to multitask
