What will you be doing!
- Aligning company training management goals with opportunities to leverage system automation and new system functionality in the effort to streamline workflows, initiating process improvements and improve data accuracy to optimize the companies return on investment.
- Performing complex system analysis when competing business interests intersect and making final system configuration decisions that are in the best overall interest of the company.
- Working with diverse customer and stakeholder groups to analyze training position analyses and compliance reporting requirements to leverage system functionality and recommend a strategic plans to ensure roles, content, training assignment logic, reporting and compliance requirements are architected to meet the needs of the client but also aligning with company broad scope reporting needs.
- Managing the execution of strategic plans to operationalize company wide, job specific and specialty training assignments by building, testing and promoting solutions through the DEV, TEST and Production environments.
- Setting data and system governance processes and procedures to set quality assurance standards for building, maintaining and operating the system to ensure sound projections for company instructor resourcing, scheduling and budget spends are possible.
- Managing the branding and layout configurations of all system dashboards and menu accessibility for all security roles.
- Performing bulk system uploads by preparing complex rapid import templates to update or managing data associated with; people profiles, completion records, HR Roles, organization charts, social collaboration settings for groups or workspaces, instructors, equipment, training facilities and location management, learning catalog updates or system settings in all environment.
- Providing monthly user subscription fee financial summaries to the Training and Development Manager.
- Promoting LMS success stories and best practices using company communication tools to educate user of the possible solutions available for managing training at the line level.
- Identifying opportunities and collaborating with other departments to identify possible cross portfolio solutions or efficiencies as a result of quarterly software updates, new collaboration tools, HR employee profile management or skills/certification tracking opportunities in the software.
- Working with the Reporting Analyst to support the development of the LMS reporting center and test reporting templates to ensure reporting parameters meet end user’s needs for training qualification validation, work planning, program reporting and companywide compliance reporting by assignment.
- Developing and facilitating Learning Management System training programs for all LMS roles with Administration functionality that aligns with established governance and processes in order to deliver consistent administration, operation and use of the system.
- Creating a records management archival process in alignment with regulatory retention requirements and executes archiving on a regular annual schedule.
- Providing second tier support to LMS training support staff including: offsite training support staff, embedded training teams, training shared services staff, IT frontline workers, embedded admin assistants (training tasks and reporting), Contractor Management domain training staff support, Security domain training staff support.
- Acting as an authorized Saba support contact.
- Submitting service escalation and enhancement requests via the supplier support portal.
- Communicating system outages and coordinates quarterly copy backs requests.
- Arranging authorized support contact training for new administrators.
- Creating and authorizing the deployment of augmented security role permissions to all system users.
- Monitoring system logs, investigating data inconsistencies, troubleshooting user interface functionality and resolving issues that can be solved by customizing configurations available in the application.
- Performing regular internal audits on the content library and training completion data to identify data inconsistencies, performing root cause analysis and actions the corrective action plan to resolve the data inconsistency by engaging training support staff .
- Attending and supporting audits.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
- Education
- Completion of a SABA/Cornerstone LMS Administrator Training Program as asset.
- Possesses the SABA “ASC Certification” Authorized Support Contacts Certification or willing to complete the training.
- Experience
- Minimum Five (5) years’ experience analyzing, manipulating and interpreting data for the purpose of making empirical based decisions, three (3) years’ working in a compliance based training program, three (3) years’ experience managing a digital customer user experience with workflows, and one (1) years’ experience creating training for system support.
- Experience managing relationships and negotiating competing client interests, working with various digital content file formats. (i.e. documents, photos, music, videos and learning packages), managing prescriptive rules engine based on HR data for the purpose of automating training assignments is essential, with website branding and digital content optimization for web and in preparing training and change management communications for the purpose of communicating new version functionality to the company.

- Possesses a strong understanding of regulatory requirements for training program management .

- Takes initiative to identify roadblocks and collaborates with others to develop and propose solutions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to understand the impact of complex concepts and processes on multiple use cases.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage time and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain successful working relations at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders / vendors.
- Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Advanced abilities using computer software such as Excel, Power BI, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Human Resources data integrations and data analysis, manipulation, verification and validations best practices for audits.
- Knowledge of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) Training Programs and Standards.
- Knowledge of CNL License requirements for training and regulatory and legislative requirements, CNL Management System, CNL vision for 2030 and 5 and 10 year strategic plans, and CNL Annual APWB and PEMP.
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
