Role Overview:
Cardinal Nannies is seeking a dynamic and reliable part-time nanny for a family in Oshawa with one child in Senior Kindergarten. We are looking for a caregiver who strikes the perfect balance between being creative, sporty, and playful, while also being able to set boundaries confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare & Engagement: Provide a fun, safe, and active environment after school.
- Household Support: Assist with basic meal preparation, children’s laundry, and light housekeeping.
- Specialized Care: Experience working with individuals with autism.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–4 years of professional childcare experience with excellent references.
- Education: Minimum Secondary School graduation.
- Credentials: Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Security: A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is mandatory.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this role as there is no public transportation to the client’s home.
