We’re looking for an experienced individual to join our Assembly department in the role of Team Leader.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for providing support, guidance and instructions to a team of operators who have been assigned to the task of packing and assembling customer orders.
With a focus on health and safety processes, you’ll lead by example, ensuring that quality standards are met at all times, highlighting areas for improvement and reporting good practices to management.
We’re ‘Redefining Packaging for a Changing World’ and it’ll be within your remit to review the current process with an open mind, challenging the way in which we do things in order continually improve productivity, costs and efficiencies. You’ll be conscious of deadlines and will work to ensure that our orders are packed and assembled on time, and to the highest standard.
Our perfect Team Leader would have:
Proven supervisory experience with ability to lead and motivate a team, preferably within a factory environment
Working knowledge of good health and safety practices
Proven experience of working towards KPI’s and deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills; both written and verbally
The ability to monitor, review and evaluate processes, highlighting areas for improvement to management
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
