Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HARP Certified Dental Assistant to join our busy Endodontic specialty clinic in Brampton on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized dental environment, supporting endodontic procedures and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong clinical skills, familiarity with dental software, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Prior experience in dental assisting specifically with endodontic procedures will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the endodontist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear operative field
- Manage patient records using our practice management dental software
- Take and develop dental radiographs using digital technology when necessary
- Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance
- Support front desk by ensuring that accurate treatment planning is communicated
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting, preferably within endodontics, is highly desirable
- Proficiency with dental software is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and endodontic procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Certification or training in dental assisting is required (Level II preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
This position is part-time three days per week. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am to 4:00pm. These dates and times are subject to change based on the doctor schedule.
