Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented DTF Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, and proficiency with ERP systems to optimize workflow and efficiency. The DTF Production Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe, productive, and high-quality manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the DTF manufacturing floor to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and promote lean manufacturing principles.
- Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet company specifications and industry standards.
- Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts related to mechanical issues, equipment maintenance, and process disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline assembly processes and improve overall workflow.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on manufacturing best practices, process improvements, and ERP system usage.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and safety; implement corrective actions as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, MRP modules, and supply chain management tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and assembly lines.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and techniques within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lead teams effectively, motivate staff, and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly.
- Familiarity with manufacturing best practices including lean principles, process optimization, and workflow management.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with different departments and reporting on operational performance.
