Job Title: Guest Services Agent – Front Desk (Part-Time)

About the Role
As a valued member of our Guest Services team, you will play a key role in shaping each guest’s experience from arrival to departure. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you’ll serve as a warm and professional first point of contact, while handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and day-to-day guest needs. You’ll also support our hotel operations by balancing financial transactions and contributing to our service and satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide an outstanding check-in and check-out experience to all guests
- Process reservations and modify bookings accurately and efficiently
- Answer phone calls professionally and assist with inquiries or redirect as needed
- Handle cash, credit, and other financial transactions; ensure shift audits balance
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or service requests and find effective resolutions
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest expectations
- Support group bookings, including room assignments, rooming lists, and payment processing
- Monitor room inventory and prevent overbooking situations
- Participate in hotel initiatives including upselling, loyalty program enrollments, and guest satisfaction goals (Medallia scores, etc.)
- Complete administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and reporting
- Ensure guest and staff safety by following emergency procedures and completing safety logs as needed
- Take on additional tasks as delegated by leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Enthusiastic, positive, and guest-focused attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Technologically confident—MS Office proficiency required; familiarity with POS systems and Opera Cloud PMS is a plus
- Able to take initiative and stay productive during quieter shifts
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a strong asset
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
