Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development.
Duties:
**Develop and Implement Sales Strategies**: Craft and execute sales strategies to attract business from various market segments such as corporate, leisure, group travel, and events.
**Marketing Campaigns**: Plan and manage marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, public relations, and advertising to enhance the hotel's brand visibility and attract customers. Collaborate with the operations team to create impactful campaigns.
**Revenue Management**: Collaborate with the revenue management team to set pricing strategies, monitor market trends, and adjust rates to optimize revenue.
**Client Relations**: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, travel agents, corporate partners, and event planners. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
**Market Analysis**: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
**Budget Management**: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
**Event Planning**: Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and other marketing events to attract potential clients and boost the hotel’s profile.
**Sales Reporting**: Generate and analyze sales reports, presenting findings and strategic recommendations to hotel management and stakeholders.
**Accounts**: Manage key customer accounts and develop new business opportunities
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, outside sales, and business development
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyze market data, financial reports, and industry trends to make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and closing deals
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and negotiate with clients.

**Educational Background**
Typically, a Director of Hotel Sales and Marketing holds a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications or an MBA can be advantageous. This role is crucial for driving the commercial success of a hotel, requiring a blend of strategic vision, market insight, and leadership capabilities.
