Print Operator - Rolls Team

Roles & Responsibilities:
The shift for this position is Thursday to Monday 4:00 – 12:00.

This person will work with the rolls team to support the print operators running our wide and narrow format machines. The position will include a variety of scheduled tasks and problem solving related to supporting those machines and being responsible for the finishing processes (laser cutting and label application) for the products that come off these machines.
Production Operations

Operate Zund laser cutters, and NITA label applicator following standard operating procedures
- Work within the Production Schedule as required

Optimize output of machines by planning the workload while looking for opportunities to maximize output and minimize downtime

Monitor consumption of consumables and replenish when necessary

Offer input on orders to help minimize waste

Maintain quality at all times for finished products by adhering to standard practices

Function effectively independently as well as with the other members of the team

Assist with special projects as needed
Maintenance Management

Assist with preventative maintenance as required
- Keep track of downtime and issues on production equipment utilizing the Technical Support Request form, escalate as needed

Assist Team Lead and Production Manager to manage spare parts and inventory to ensure that equipment uptime is maintained

Assist in management of tools inventory to ensure that the tools are easily retrievable, trackable and utilized as needed

Comply with Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor/manager. Management will ensure employees are provided with job specific Environmental, Health & Safety information, training and also ensure employees follow workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures
