Miller Livestock Partnership is seeking a professional, organized, and people-focused Receptionist & Office Coordinator to support the day-to-day flow of our Grandora office.
As the first point of contact for customers, producers, suppliers, visitors, and industry partners, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. Beyond reception, this is a hands-on role that supports office coordination, administration, and operational needs across the business.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You notice what needs to be done, take initiative, and are always willing to step in and support the team.
This is an in-office position, Monday to Friday, with regular working hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front Office
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, producers, suppliers, visitors, and industry partners.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls professionally and accurately.
- Take clear messages and ensure information reaches the appropriate team member.
- Welcome and assist visitors, creating a positive and professional experience.
- Respond to general inquiries and direct requests appropriately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming reception, meeting, and common areas.
Office Coordination & Administration
- Support the day-to-day flow of the office and proactively identify administrative needs.
- Manage office, kitchen, and facility supplies.
- Coordinate cleaning, maintenance, office equipment, and other service providers.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, packages, and correspondence.
- Complete bank, mail, courier, and other local errands as required.
- Assist with meeting preparation, room coordination, and workspace organization.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files, contact lists, directories, and business records.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide administrative support to accounting, livestock, and operational teams as needed.
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, scanning, filing, and record management.
- Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, and other documentation.
- Assist with invoice tracking, coding, filing, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate records to support accounting, reporting, and audit requirements.
- Provide additional support during peak periods, employee absences, and vacations.
- Assist with special projects and changing operational priorities.
Systems & Office Support
- Provide basic support for phones, printers, meeting spaces, and other office equipment.
- Coordinate with external providers for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist employees with general office systems, equipment, and administrative processes.
- Ensure shared office resources, equipment, and supplies remain organized and available.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in reception, office administration, customer service, or a similar role.
- A professional, friendly, and welcoming approach.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to take initiative and help where needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience with basic accounting, data entry, or administrative systems is an asset.
- Experience in agriculture, livestock, or a related industry is an asset.
- Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
