What You’ll Do
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system upgrades across industrial and commercial sites.
- Work hands-on with electrical systems, equipment, controls, and fire alarm systems.
- Collaborate with other skilled trades to deliver efficient, safe, and profitable project outcomes.
- Interpret schematics, prints, and technical documentation with precision.
- Represent Robin Electric with professionalism, strong communication, and customer-focused service.
What You Bring
- Red Seal Construction Electrician certification
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, soft starts, and control systems
- Fire alarm systems knowledge
- Personal hand tools
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented work style
- Solid interpersonal and customer service abilities
Preferred Experience & Training
- Confined Space Entry
- Aerial Work Platform
- First Aid / CPR
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- 5+ years of field experience
- Willingness to travel outside Winnipeg for special projects
Special Requirements
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and at heights (ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
