Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Mother’s Helper to assist a family with daily household and childcare needs. This role involves supporting parents in caring for a nine month old baby, preparing age appropriate meals for the baby, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and great attention to detail with helping with household tasks.
Duties
- Assist with childcare activities, including engaging the child in playtime (music, art, mobility progression games, nature walks)
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the baby
- Support with light housekeeping tasks such as kitchen cleaning, laundry, and organizing household items
Qualifications
- Experience working with children, preferrably holding an ECE
- Skills in cooking, meal preparation, and light cleaning
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of children
- Ability to teach basic skills or educational activities to children
- Strong caregiving skills with a responsible and trustworthy attitude
- Prior experience in caregiving or as a mother’s helper
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully
Schedule
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:30am-4:30pm. Possibly up to 5 days per week and added hours based on candidate desire and suitability.
- Start date June 30th or ASAP

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
