What can you expect?
This position is responsible for handling all inbound calls to Sunshine Village, sales of various ski passes, on-line and in person retail sales and booking reservations for the Sunshine Mountain Lodge. The Customer Care Centre Agent works under the direction of the Hotel Revenue Account Manager, and closely with the Sales & Marketing departments. This position will work out of the Calgary Snow Central Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer service to all walk-in guests, telephone, and email inquiries.
- Promptly answering incoming telephone calls and transferring them efficiently to the right department.
- Booking reservations for Sunshine Mountain Lodge.
- General office functions (sorting mail, receiving courier items, filing, etc.)
- Being welcoming and knowledgeable about our awesome resort.
Requirements
- Previous customer service/call centre experience.
- Experience in a sales environment, with hotel management systems, and in the ski industry, is considered an asset.
- Positive, mature, and professional attitude.
- Prepared to work flexible schedules e.g., weekends, holidays, and extended hours may be required.
- Calm under pressure and patient, with good time management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) is considered an asset.
