We are seeking a dedicated Cafe Assistant to join our team in Old Quebec. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our cafe runs smoothly, contributing to our mission of providing high-quality food and beverages.
Responsibilities
- Barista
- Food and Preparation
- Provide excellent customer service
- Operate the POS system for transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafe
- Handle cash and perform cashiering duties
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or service is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to operate POS systems effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
