Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes. Duties
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments and documentation
- Utilize warehouse management systems like AS400 for inventory tracking and data entry
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials safely and efficiently
- Support manufacturing processes by moving raw materials or finished goods within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet safety standards
- Support construction or maintenance tasks as needed involving heavy equipment operation
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as manufacturing or construction
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400) and heavy equipment operation (forklifts, reach trucks, cranes)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and order picking techniques
- Experience with warehouse experience, including order picker operation and packaging processes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order fulfillment
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and adhere to safety protocols
