Pay: $23–$24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
We're currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator for one of our clients in Oakville, Ontario. The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse activities, including material handling, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and material movement using various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials as required
- Off-load trucks safely and efficiently
- Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Pick products accurately according to orders
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment
- Load outbound shipments as required
- Operate forklifts and other MHE safely and efficiently, where certified
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Assist with other warehouse operations as required
Requirements
- Crown Counterbalance (CB) forklift certification required
- Walkie forklift certification required
- Previous warehouse and material-handling experience
- Comfortable performing various warehouse duties, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Must be willing to learn and operate other types of MHE as required
- Additional MHE training and certification will be provided in-house
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
