We are seeking applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level in the School of Environment and Sustainability, Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences. You will be qualified to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level in subjects relevant to the school’s six programs and will have experience with a range of different academic or research administration functions, and a demonstrated track record of successful academic collaboration. Familiarity with RRU’s graduate and undergraduate programs and learning model, as well as diverse teaching experience would be an asset.

Job Requirements
A doctoral degree in a related field

Demonstrated teaching excellence at the graduate level

Academic and/or research administrative experience

Experience delivering an inter-disciplinary and outcomes-based curriculum

Experience in designing and delivering online and in-class instruction

Ability to work effectively in team-based course delivery

Experience in facilitating and evaluating practice-based learning outcomes

Ability to work within a transdisciplinary curriculum

Experience in supervision of graduate students

Demonstrated ability to work collegially as a team member with a variety of teams and stakeholder groups

This is an initial five-year appointment with the possibility of conversion into a continuing appointment, subject to performance and program needs.
